Job summary

Northern Territory PHN invites applications for a senior leadership role within the Office of the CEO to provide strategic leadership across governance, enterprise risk, compliance and assurance. You will support effective accountability and decision-making and advise the Board, Committee Chairs, the CEO and the ELT on governance matters.

Qualifications

• Requires postgraduate education or equivalent experience in governance, risk management, or related discipline.
• Extensive senior leadership experience across governance, risk, compliance and assurance functions.
• Experience establishing and overseeing enterprise risk management frameworks and governance structures.
• Experience with Company Secretary duties, board governance processes and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership of governance, risk, compliance and assurance across NT PHN.
• Maintain and improve governance framework, board charters, delegations and policies.
• Lead enterprise risk management development, risk appetite, reporting and oversight.
• Provide strategic advice to Board and Executive on risk exposure and governance effectiveness.
• Oversee risk, compliance, audit, quality and information security activities.
• Manage statutory, contractual and funding compliance obligations and incident responses.
• Support Board effectiveness through induction, evaluation, governance reviews and succession planning.
• Lead governance reporting to Board and Audit & Risk Committee.
