Job summary

Montefiore is a Sydney-based, award-winning aged care provider seeking an experienced leader to drive Clinical Governance across the organisation. You will oversee clinical education, infection prevention and control, and vaccination programs while guiding teams and collaborating with senior management to improve safety and compliance.

The role requires a registered nurse with AHPRA and advanced leadership qualifications, with a strong track record in aged care quality standards and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years post graduate experience in Aged Care with leadership experience.
• Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Masters or postgraduate qualification in Education and Leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Clinical Education & Infection Prevention and Control teams.
• Provide expertise in clinical governance and risk mitigation to Residential Care leadership.
• Collaborate with Quality and Compliance to drive quality improvement within governance framework.
• Oversee clinical education across the organisation and IPC portfolio enhancements.
• Supervise vaccination programs and client information management systems (eCase, BestMed, PainChek).
• Prepare for Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission visits and registration processes.
• Support Learning & Development in informing training initiatives for clinical care and governance.
• Provide urgent on-call support as required.
