Job summary

Kangaroo Island Community Education in Kingscote, SA, seeks a Senior Leader of Curriculum, Pedagogy, Teaching and Learning for Years 7-9. Based at Kingscote Campus, you will lead instructional practice and alignment with SAC/SA strategies to drive high-quality, evidence-informed pedagogy.

You will collaborate across three campuses to unify practices, monitor student data to boost attendance, behaviour and achievement, and support professional learning communities and inclusion initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills enabling collaboration with staff, students, parents and the wider community.
• Experience in implementing and developing planned programs aimed at improving educational outcomes through differentiated teaching and learning.
• Expertise in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation for Years 7-9.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership and instructional leadership at Kingscote Campus aligning SAC and SA Strategy for Public Education.
• Collaborate with the KICE leadership team to unify quality practices across three campuses.
• Monitor and analyse student data to improve attendance, behaviour, engagement and achievement.
• Support professional learning communities for Years 7-9 and strengthen networks within and beyond KICE.
• Work with Inclusion I&SWLs on PBL, OCOPs, ILPs and IESP applications.
