Job summary

The Department for Education, South Australia, seeks an educational leader to drive instructional leadership at Kingscote Campus. You will plan, implement and activate the SAC and SA Strategy for Public Education to promote high-quality pedagogy.

Working with the KICE leadership team, you will align practices across campuses and monitor data to boost attendance, behaviour, engagement and achievement. A focus on professional learning communities and inclusive practices will be essential.

Qualifications

• High level interpersonal and communication skills for working with staff, students, parents and community.
• Experience implementing and developing planned programs to improve educational outcomes.
• Expertise in curriculum development, implementation and evaluation in Years 7-9.

Responsibilities

• Provide educational leadership including Instructional Leadership in planning, implementation and activation of SAC and SA Strategy for Public Education.
• Collaborate with KICE leadership to ensure consistent quality practices across campuses.
• Monitor and analyse student data to inform attendance, behaviour, engagement and achievement.
• Support development of professional learning communities for 7-9 to foster dialogue and feedback.
• Support Inclusion I&SWLs with OCOPs, ILPs and IESP applications.
