Job summary

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) is seeking highly motivated and experienced Lawyers to join its Office of General Counsel as Senior Lawyer. You will provide legal advice and dispute resolution services across general law matters affecting ATO operations.

You will analyse, interpret and apply legislation and policy, and you will identify and manage complex legal matters while guiding senior leaders and business partners. You will lead a small team and mentor less experienced lawyers.

Leading a small team, you’ll develop staff capability and mentor less experienced lawyers.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD.
