Job summary

Australian Taxation Office seeks highly motivated Lawyers to join the Office of General Counsel. As a Lawyer, you will provide legal advice and dispute resolution across general law matters affecting ATO operations.

You will work with business partners on moderately complex issues, analyse legislation and policy, and contribute to effective legal risk management. Roles may be offered ongoing or non-ongoing in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD.

You will communicate with business partners on moderately complex legal issues, analyse and interpret legislation and policy, provide legally sound recommendations and contribute to effective legal risk management across the organisation.

You will exercise sound judgment, integrity and accountability, while working collaboratively with senior legal practitioners, to contribute to quality outcomes.

These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Melbourne CBD or Sydney CBD.
