Job summary

Wyer & Co are seeking an experienced Landscape Architect/Designer to join our Botany, NSW team. This role will involve managing projects from concept design through to documentation and construction support, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional landscape outcomes.

You will lead concept designs, council submission plans, coordinate timelines and budgets, mentor graduate and junior designers, and ensure compliance with planning approvals.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a design office.
• Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD.
• Strong plant knowledge and familiarity with council/building regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare landscape concept designs, council submission plans (DA, CC, CDC) and construction documentation.
• Manage projects through all stages of delivery from design to construction support.
• Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, contractors and local authorities.
• Coordinate project timelines, budgets and documentation requirements.
• Conduct site assessments and research site constraints and opportunities.
• Assist with planning application processes and consultant coordination.
• Oversee design implementation to ensure adherence to approved plans.
• Mentor and support graduate and junior design team members.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, reports and client correspondence.
