Department of Justice in Victoria is seeking a senior knowledge translation officer to turn complex gambling research into clear information for policy and public health. You will write plain-English content for fact sheets, web pages and briefs, track new research and advise on policy and service decisions, working with government teams to share knowledge across the Victorian Government.

Qualifications

Strong research knowledge about gambling, its products, industry and regulation.
Clear writing skills and experience turning technical research into information people can understand.
Knowledge-sharing skills to help teams use research and evidence in their work.
Sound judgement and teamwork skills to analyse problems, adapt to change and explain complex issues clearly.

Lead clear, accessible ways to share research and information about gambling harm.
Write accurate, plain English content for fact sheets, web pages, newsletters and briefs.
Track new research, trends and issues in gambling and public health.
Analyse evidence and provide timely, sound advice to support policy and service decisions.
Present findings, respond to new issues and collaborate with research teams to share knowledge across government.
