Bankstown Sports Club is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to lead the transformation of a suite of cloud‑based software onto a modern architecture. You will drive features, POCs, and technical initiatives while mentoring engineers and setting higher technical standards.

Qualifications

Deep Java and Spring Boot expertise.
Strong microservices and REST API design experience.
Architecture and system design capability.

Responsibilities

Designing and building full‑stack solutions across onboarding and verification.
Developing services that support KYC, KYB, risk assessment and application approval processes.
Integrating automated workflows with manual operational review processes.
Working with adjacent teams across activation, invoicing and payment processing to create a connected customer journey.
Contributing to the team’s migration to Microsoft Azure.
Using AI‑assisted development practices and evolving how AI is embedded across product development.
Improving engineering quality through automated testing, TDD and CI/CD practices.
Supporting other engineers through technical guidance and code reviews.
