Job summary

Bytewize IT Consulting seeks an experienced Systems Engineer / Specialist Technician to deliver technical support under the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP) in Victorian schools. The role demands strong enterprise IT skills and a background in school networks and server environments.

You will manage ICT infrastructure, support staff and students, and collaborate with school leadership. Flexible employment options include contract, casual, or permanent arrangements, with top rates

Qualifications

At least 5 years of IT experience, including education-sector or TSSP context is preferred.
Strong background in managing ICT infrastructure across schools or enterprise environments.
Proven ability to deploy and support large-scale Windows/Linux server and network environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.
Administer school networks and server environments and provide ICT support.
Deliver ICT professional development to school staff when required.
Collaborate with school leadership on technology initiatives.
