Job summary

Grampians Health is seeking a Senior Systems IT Administrator to join the Digital Health Infrastructure team in Ballarat. You will manage server OS, databases, and application/web servers, delivering high-quality IT support across the health service.

Reporting to the IT Systems Manager, you will develop automation solutions, monitor server performance, and work with a busy service team providing remote and on-site support.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in information technology or related field.
• IT certifications such as MCSA/MCSE or VCP preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and fault rectification for server-based operating systems, DBMS and app/web servers.
• Regular maintenance on server hardware and software components.
• Provide remote and face-to-face service as part of the service team.
• Monitor performance and availability of servers and core apps.
