Job summary

Greater Western Water is seeking a Senior Sourcing Specialist, IT&D, to lead end-to-end procurement from strategy through to contract finalisation, in a hybrid Footscray-based role. You will work with the Senior Category Manager IT&D and stakeholders across IT, Digital and business units, delivering value while managing risk.

You will bring 7+ years of ICT procurement experience, strong negotiation skills and a track record of successful complex ICT initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in procurement and sourcing, delivering ICT initiatives.
• Independently lead end-to-end ICT sourcing and tenders to outcomes.
• Knowledge of IT and Digital procurement methodologies.
• Experience with software, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, telecommunications and digital solutions procurement.
• Strong commercial acumen to negotiate favourable outcomes and deliver savings.
• Drafting and finalising complex ICT contracts with risk considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing for complex ICT procurements from strategy to contract execution.
• Develop sourcing strategies, tender docs, evaluation methods and recommendations.
• Manage evaluations across commercial, technical and risk dimensions.
• Lead supplier negotiations and engagement activities for favourable outcomes.
• Translate tender outcomes into robust contractual arrangements reflecting business needs.
• Build relationships with IT, Digital and business teams as procurement advisor.
• Identify and deliver commercial savings and efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to category strategy and procurement capability uplift.
