Job summary

Femedge Solutions in Sydney, NSW, AU seeks a Senior IP Network Design Engineer with 6+ years hands-on experience in IP/MPLS, BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, and multi-vendor environments. You will own end-to-end lab validation and production rollout, analyze architectures, and identify design gaps across Cisco and Juniper platforms.

Qualifications

• In-depth experience with BGP, OSPF/IS-IS and MPLS VPNs across multi-vendor environments.
• Experience taking a solution from design through lab validation into production.
• CCNP/CCIE/JNCIS/JNCIP certifications or equivalent.
• Degree in Telecommunications, Networking or Engineering.
• Strong ability to own outcomes without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyse network architectures and identify design gaps before production.
• Conduct end-to-end lab testing across Cisco and Juniper platforms.
• Produce documentation and Golden MOPs for rollout teams.
• Explain complex technical decisions clearly to non-engineers.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and ownership.
• Contribute to telecom modernization, IP integration and migration projects.
