Job summary

AVEC, a delivery-first technology consultancy, seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst specialising in Investment Data and Investment Technology to join an established team within a sophisticated institutional environment.

The role is hands-on and sits between investment teams, data specialists, architects and engineers. You will translate complex investment requirements into technical specifications and define data flows, mappings and APIs for delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in institutional investment data and technology.
• Strong SQL, data profiling, mapping, and data quality skills.
• Experience with investment data workflows, APIs, and data models.

Responsibilities

• Translate investment requirements into technical specifications for engineers.
• Define data movements between platforms and data lineage.
• Collaborate with product owners, SMEs, architects, and QA in Agile delivery.
• Own problems through delivery from discovery to implementation.
