Job summary

Avant is Australia's leading medical defence organisation with a long history of supporting medical professionals. The Avant Investments team seeks an experienced investment professional to analyse SAA/DAA, build and maintain models, and provide analytical support to the team.

You will mentor analysts, prepare performance and risk reports for management and the Board, and develop investment strategy recommendations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years investment/finance related experience.
• Hands-on financial analysis and quantitative modelling experience.
• Experience with asset allocation or manager/fund selection.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support SAA, DAA and manager/fund selection processes.
• Build and maintain investment models and research processes.
• Prepare performance commentary and risk reporting.
• Develop investment strategy recommendations.
• Mentor analysts and provide back-up coverage.
