Job summary

Vanguard Australia is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor within our Business & Corporate Audit Services (BCAS) team to execute risk-based audits, assess internal controls, and influence management to improve the control environment.

You will collaborate with partner groups across divisions, prepare work papers and narratives, and contribute to the audit coverage strategy for key risk topics while upholding Vanguard's values and standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in audit, risk, or controls roles.
• Exposure to Australian financial services regulatory requirements.
• Data analytics literacy to extract actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of engaging with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Perform risk-based audits and evaluate controls.
• Interact with management to discuss progress and remediation.
• Prepare work papers, narratives, flowcharts and audit reports.
• Apply industry standards and provide actionable recommendations.
• Participate in special projects and initiative programs.
• Collaborate with cross-divisional teams to shape audit coverage.
