Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA) seeks an Internal Audit Senior Specialist to join either the Perth or Sydney team. You will support the Manager Internal Audit in delivering risk-based assurance across financial and operational audits, with responsibility for J-SOX programs, walkthroughs, testing and reporting.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, professional certifications (CIA/CA/CPA/CISA), 5+ years of internal audit experience, and the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business related field.
• CIA, CA, CPA or CISA certifications.
• 5+ years of experience in delivering end-to-end internal audit projects.
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality audit outcomes.
• Willingness to travel interstate approximately quarterly.
• Current work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of J-SOX program, lead/supported financial & operational audits, follow-up audits and other risk & assurance activities.
• Independently deliver audit walkthroughs, testing, process maps, risk & controls documentation & reports.
• Identify control gaps, analyse root causes and recommend practical improvements.
• Contribute to annual program planning and management reporting activities.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and resolve audit matters effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain ongoing professional development.
