Job summary

Protiviti Australia is seeking a Senior Consultant in Internal Audit to support delivery of engagements across a broad client portfolio. You will identify risks, assess controls, and provide practical recommendations to drive business improvement.

The role involves engagement delivery, walkthroughs, testing controls, and preparing client deliverables with exposure to senior stakeholders across various industries. Travel to client sites is expected as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
• Progress toward or completion of CA, CPA, or CIA qualifications is highly regarded.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of internal audit and advisory engagements across client portfolios.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, walkthroughs, and control testing activities.
• Assist in preparing audit scopes, work programs, process flowcharts, and reports.
• Identify control weaknesses, business risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation, findings, and recommendations for review.
• Work collaboratively with engagement teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through professional and proactive communication.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and broader practice activities.
