Protiviti Australia is seeking a Senior Consultant in Internal Audit to support the delivery of internal audits and advisory engagements for a broad client portfolio in Australia. You will work with Managers and client stakeholders to identify risks, assess controls, and deliver practical recommendations that drive business improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience within internal audit, risk advisory, or consulting environments
• Understanding of governance, risk, and internal control concepts
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of internal audit and advisory engagements across financial and operational areas
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, walkthroughs, and control testing activities
• Assist in preparing audit scopes, work programs, process flowcharts, and reports
• Identify control weaknesses, business risks, and improvement opportunities
• Prepare clear and concise documentation, findings, and recommendations for review
• Work collaboratively with engagement teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through professional and proactive communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and broader practice activities
