Job summary

Bespoke Careers invites an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our Education & Learning environments team in Sydney. The role focuses on private and public education spaces, leading design from concept through construction across K-12 projects.

You will drive design intent, oversee technical delivery, and collaborate with clients, consultants and project teams to meet user needs with innovative, functional solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years post-qualification experience in education and learning spaces.
• Ability to lead projects from concept through to construction within complex environments.
• Strong understanding of educational design principles supporting learning, collaboration and wellbeing.
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite with excellent technical detailing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the design development of innovative education and learning environments (K-12) across all project phases, from concept to handover.
• Drive design intent and oversee technical delivery, ensuring each scheme reflects excellence and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to achieve design solutions that respond precisely to user and client needs.
• Develop compelling concepts, presentations, detailed documentation, and 3D models that communicate inspiring design ideas.
• Foster the professional growth of junior team members through mentorship and shared technical knowledge.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations effectively, maintaining a proactive approach at all times.
• Resolve technical and design challenges with practical, inventive solutions, ensuring seamless project delivery.

• Deep understanding of educational design principles supporting learning, collaboration, and wellbeing.
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite; excellent technical detailing skills.
• Experience coordinating with clientsand stakeholders to ensure cohesive project delivery.
