Job summary

ACCIONA ENERGY is seeking a Senior Interface Engineer for TransGrid and Mines in New South Wales. The role focuses on leading third-party interfaces, developing an Interface Management Plan, and ensuring compliance across project gates from design to commissioning.

The candidate will maintain strong stakeholder relationships and travel monthly to site. Requires a engineering degree, 10+ years of engineering experience with interface exposure, and solid knowledge of electrical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is required or equivalent.
• TransGrid experience is essential.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Minimum of 10 years engineering experience with interface exposure preferred.
• Technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure and project interfaces.
• Clear communicator of scope and project compliance across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage third-party interfaces with TransGrid, Mines, and Power Generators through project delivery.
• Develop and maintain an Interface Management Plan and sub-plans for key stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance reporting through delivery gates.
• Develop solutions to minimise third-party impacts while maintaining commercial delivery.
• Maintain relationships with third parties to avoid disputes and claims; document meetings and minutes.
• Prepare standardized documents and regular reporting for EnergyCo, Network Operator Management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team to plan and deliver interface works and address issues promptly.
• Travel to site approximately monthly for meetings with third parties.
