Job summary

Southern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Senior Project Officer for Intelligence, Data and Reporting in Sydney. You will plan and lead complex projects to identify high-risk tobacco and e-cigarette activities, developing insights and performance reporting to support regulatory operations.

Working within a dynamic Centre Operations team, you will collaborate with stakeholders and ensure governance processes are followed.

Qualifications

Experience in data or intelligence environment.
Understanding of information sharing protocols and restrictions.
Regulatory or law enforcement operating environment experience.
Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality in sensitive matters.
Strong relationship-building with stakeholders.
Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.

Responsibilities

Plan, lead and undertake complex intelligence, data and reporting projects to identify high-risk activities, premises, entities and trends in tobacco and e-cigarette regulation.
Develop intelligence-informed insights, risk indicators and performance reporting to support business planning and targeting.
Coordinate briefing materials, governance processes and regulatory activities within a fast-paced government environment.
