Job summary

Victoria Police is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to provide high-level strategic intelligence across Family Violence, Sex Offences and Child Abuse themes. You will monitor trends, inform decision makers and support intelligence taskings with written products and briefings.

The role requires strong communication, data analysis, forecasting and the ability to engage with stakeholders across the organisation. Flexible working arrangements are supported within a contemporary workplace.

Qualifications

• Experience in intelligence analysis and forecasting.
• Ability to extract, collate and analyse data for intelligence products.
• Strong written and verbal communication tailored to audiences.
• Capacity to handle stress and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and undertake research, extract and collate data and statistics; consult with stakeholders to inform intelligence products.
• Provide analysis on observed issues and trends, inferring drivers and risk factors.
• Support decision makers with high level recommendations via written products and briefings.
• Assist with operational-level intelligence taskings.
