It is a powerful research tool that informs the category vision and strategic planning of top names in grocery and liquor with billion-dollar turnovers. You will work with buyers, sales, marketing and category stakeholders to inform category strategy through a systematic analysis of shopper mindset, sentiment, and behaviour, turning data into actionable strategies, challenges into opportunities, aspirations into realities.

The role of Senior Insights Manager

Senior Insights Manager plays a vital role, safeguarding client retention and fuelling growth by identifying and building new opportunities to support existing clients.

  • Drive big strategic client accounts with major Retailers and FMCGs.
  • Synthesise data, pull out critical insights and add top-level thinking to all deliverables
  • Present influential presentations and workshops of impactful insights
  • Develop your reputation as a specialist in the FMCG/Category Insights, advocating the Shopper.
  • Support the SLT with thought leadership, marketing and representing the agency in industry
  • Work closely with the Client Service Director, fostering collaboration, internal initiatives, and team growth.
Desired experience
  • Significant experience in FMCG/ Retail/ Shopper Insights & Category Strategy
  • Exceptional client management skills - a track record of building deep, strategic relationships
  • Able to talk confidently about category planning and strategy: range optimisation, innovation, planograms, pricing, promotions, shopper missions etc
  • Agency experience prioritised, but clientside experience of interest
  • Comfortable with data: survey data, PoS data, loyalty, panel data etc.
