Job summary

Mouri Tech LLC in Sydney is seeking an Infrastructure & Security Engineer for a long-term contract with hybrid work arrangement. You will manage day-to-day operations across servers, AD, M365, security tooling, and network services, while leading patching, vulnerability reduction, and migration projects.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of hands-on experience in multi-site environments, strong scripting (PowerShell) and IaC exposure, and familiarity with enterprise storage and security platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on Infrastructure and Security experience in a multi-site environment.
• Experience across Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Server and Microsoft 365.
• Strong capability in on-prem to cloud migrations and security.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day infrastructure operations across servers, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, and core network services across all sites.
• Patching and configuration: Execute routine patching cycles, configuration changes and lifecycle activities under change management.
• Lead remediation of penetration testing findings: triage by severity, plan, execute fixes, and verify closure.
• Own the vulnerability management cycle: scan, prioritise, remediate, report weekly.
• Triage security alerts from CrowdStrike Falcon, Mimecast, Netskope, and ADAudit Plus and integrate them into ITIL workflows.
• Build and maintain runbooks and SOPs for every platform task to remove single-resource dependency.
• Own backup and recovery operations via Veeam, monitor daily, and maintain DR readiness with SAN environments.
• Drive on-prem to cloud migrations: assess workloads, plan waves, execute lift-and-shift and re-platform moves, validate post-migration security.
• Participate in change management, risk assessments, and ITIL processes; contribute to on-call roster.
• Crosstrain Operations Engineers to strengthen team capability across the group.
