Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead the strategy and execution of engagement for a major infrastructure opportunity in South Australia. You will build trusted relationships, advise project leaders, and ensure stakeholder considerations guide planning and delivery.

You will develop engagement plans, map stakeholders across agencies and communities, plan consultations, craft key messages and collaborate with design and construction teams to integrate

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading communications and stakeholder engagement within major infrastructure or construction.
• Proven ability to develop engagement strategies, community programs and communications plans.
• Strong ability to partner with delivery teams, government and communities to deliver outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and communications strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Lead stakeholder identification, analysis and mapping across government, regulators, communities and other stakeholders.
• Plan and deliver consultations, community events and project updates, maintain engagement records.
• Develop communications plans, messages and collateral for project channels.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to incorporate stakeholder feedback and manage impacts.
• Lead community and media relations, issues management and reputational risk planning.
• Monitor engagement outcomes, KPIs and communications performance, and provide regular reporting.
• Supervise and mentor communications and stakeholder engagement team members.
