Job summary

Paxus is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Automation Specialist to design, implement and support enterprise-scale container platforms, private cloud infrastructure and automation solutions.

The role focuses on automating the lifecycle of OpenShift clusters, observability across OpenStack and OpenShift environments, and improving developer experience via automated tooling and streamlined delivery pipelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience designing and operating enterprise-scale container platforms.
Strong automation, IaC and scripting capabilities.
Experience with OpenShift/OpenStack in production environments.
NV1 security clearance preferred or eligible.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy and automate enterprise-scale OpenShift and OpenStack environments.
Automate provisioning, configuration, scaling and lifecycle management.
Implement telemetry, monitoring and observability across platforms.
Develop automation scripts and IaC using Ansible and related tools.
Enable GitOps workflows with ArgoCD.
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery.
Manage OpenShift operators, networking and platform security.
Collaborate with teams to improve reliability and performance.
