Job summary

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission seeks an EL1 leader to head Information Governance. You will drive frameworks, policies and guidance for trusted information management, records, privacy and lifecycle controls in line with regulatory expectations.

You will collaborate with cyber security, privacy and technology stakeholders to embed governance into secure services and responsible technology use, enabling evidence-based decisions and protecting public trust.

Qualifications

• Experience leading EL1 information governance teams.
• Knowledge of Archives Act and National Archives guidance.
• Ability to provide strategic, evidence-based advice to executives and service owners.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead information governance with framework development and guidance.
• Deliver recordkeeping, information management and retention outcomes.
• Strengthen information stewardship and lifecycle controls.
• Manage information risk, privacy, and assurance activities.
• Align information governance with cyber security, ISMS and secure-by-design services.
• Provide governance for responsible technology use including AI and analytics.
