Job summary

Gamuda Australia is seeking a Senior IR Advisor to join the People & Culture team on the Parramatta Integrated Station Development project. You will provide expert industrial relations advice and drive the Workplace Relations Management Plan across the project.

You will ensure IR compliance, support enterprise agreement implementation, manage union engagement and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, HR or related discipline.
• Experience in IR/ER advisory within construction, infrastructure or project-based environments.
• Solid knowledge of Fair Work Act, industrial legislation, enterprise agreements and NSW Code.
• Experience engaging with unions, frontline leaders, subcontractors and regulators.
• Strong understanding of industrial compliance, auditing and workplace investigations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical IR advice and support to leaders, supervisors and employees.
• Support implementation of the project's IR strategy and workplace relations plans.
• Assist with enterprise agreement development, negotiations and implementation.
• Manage Right of Entry processes and relationships with unions and stakeholders.
• Conduct subcontractor and workplace compliance audits for NSW Code and Fair Work.
• Support investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters and dispute resolution.
• Develop and deliver IR training across the project.
• Monitor changes in legislation and provide timely advice to the business.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IR systems, processes and policies.
