Job summary

DT Infrastructure, part of the TasVic Greenlink JV with Samsung C&T, seeks a Senior Industrial Relations Advisor in Leongatha-VIC to guide workplace relations on a major infrastructure program. You will interpret Fair Work legislation, manage disputes, and lead site-level IR risk mitigation while liaising with project leaders and unions.

Reporting to the Senior People and Capability Manager, you will deliver training, maintain IR documentation, and ensure compliance with modern awards and EBAs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Industrial Relations or related field.
• Proven IR advisory experience in heavy industry, infra or construction.
• Strong knowledge of Australian IR legislation, Fair Work Act, modern awards and EBAs.
• Proven ability to manage union relationships, disputes and site IR risks.
• High-level negotiation, conflict resolution and written communication skills.
• Experience conducting IR risk audits and subcontractor compliance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Fair Work legislation and modern awards to provide IR advice.
• Manage employee and union disputes, grievances and right-of-entry processes.
• Assess industrial risk across site operations and develop mitigation plans.
• Lead subcontractor IR meetings, monitor labor hire compliance and payroll audits.
• Maintain IR documentation, communication lists and disputation registers.
• Deliver IR skills training to leaders on obligations and award interpretation.
