You will mentor junior lawyers, contribute to business development, and engage directly with senior clients to provide practical, commercial tax guidance across cross‑border structuring and property/finance

Qualifications

• 6+ years PQE in taxation law with a focus on GST.
• Deep knowledge of GST legislation, case law and rulings.
• Proven track record managing complex matters with minimal supervision.
• Experience mentoring junior lawyers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide commercial advice.
• Interest or experience in business development and client relationships.
• Experience with transaction structuring and cross-border tax issues.
• Collaborative, client-focused approach with sound commercial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Manage GST audits, investigations and objections with autonomy.
• Provide complex structuring advice, esp. in property and financial services.
