BDO Australia is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our Indirect Tax team in Sydney. You will advise local and global organisations on GST, stamp duty, land tax and other indirect taxes, collaborating with Partners, Directors and Managers on complex advisory matters.

You’ll build trusted client relationships, contribute to high-performing teams and develop your technical expertise through hands-on client work and ongoing professional development, including CA/CTA paths.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience in indirect tax within professional services, a law firm or government.
• Strong ability to apply tax guidance in practical contexts.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in delivering high-quality advice on GST, stamp duty, payroll tax, land tax and other indirect tax matters across industries.
• Support clients through transactions and projects including M&A, restructures and due diligence.
• Help clients manage indirect tax obligations and prepare BAS and duty submissions.
• Build trusted client relationships through regular interactions and meetings.
• Contribute to a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration and excellence.
