The Centre for Indigenous Economic Transformation (CIET) at Australian National University seeks a Senior Impact and Communications Officer (Indigenous Identified) to coordinate communications and report impact. You will work with First Nations partners to share evidence and stories, ensuring FPIC and data sovereignty principles are respected.

The role is based in Canberra and is ongoing, contingent funded until mid-2030s.

Competenze

• Experience coordinating communications for research, policy or programs.
• Ability to translate complex research into accessible content.
• Knowledge of Indigenous data sovereignty and FPIC principles.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the Centre's communications and media strategy and annual plan.
• Write and edit accessible content: case studies, briefs, speeches, newsletters, web copy.
• Develop digital assets: short videos, photography, simple graphics with brand guidelines.
• Oversee impact measurement, dashboards and partner reporting.
• Support tailored engagement plans with priority partners and provide updates.
