Job summary

The Centre for Indigenous Economic Transformation (CIET) is seeking a Senior Impact and Communications Officer to coordinate communications, support impact reporting and drive storytelling that demonstrates outcomes across research, policy and partnerships.

You will work with First Nations partners and a broad network of stakeholders to deliver the Communications strategy, annual plan and events, ensuring culturally grounded reporting and evidence-based storytelling.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating communications and impact reporting.
• Ability to write, edit and present accessible content for diverse audiences.
• Strong ability to develop multimedia assets (video, photography, simple graphics).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of CIET's communications and media strategy and annual plan.
• Research, write and edit content including case studies, partner profiles, briefs, speeches, newsletters, and web content.
• Develop digital assets and multimedia content that meet brand and accessibility standards.
• Coordinate impact measurement, dashboards and the Annual Impact Report.
• Support tailored engagement plans for priority partners with briefings and impact updates.
• Plan and deliver communications for seminars, roundtables, dialogues, workshops and launches.
• Collaborate with First Nations partners to collect stories and ensure data sovereignty adherence.
• Manage projects, budgets, procurement, timelines and risk; monitor content performance.
