Job summary

Reo Group, in partnership with a well-regarded ASX-listed business, is seeking a Senior In-House Lawyer to join its lean and high-performing legal team in Sydney. You will report to the General Manager of Legal and handle a broad range of commercial and corporate matters, collaborating with internal stakeholders across the business.

You will provide pragmatic, business-focused advice, draft and negotiate contracts, and liaise with external counsel as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years PQE; in-house experience preferred, though strong private practice candidates will be considered.
• Solid grounding in contract law, Australian Consumer Law, and Corporations Act matters.
• Experience across IT, sponsorships, confidentiality deeds or similar commercial agreements is valued.

Candidate Profile

• Already operating at a senior in-house level, with strong generalist commercial and corporate experience.
• Solid grounding in contract law, Australian Consumer Law, and Corporations Act matters.
• Experience across IT, sponsorships, confidentiality deeds or similar commercial agreements is valued.
• Confident and credible communicator, comfortable engaging with senior management and key executives.
• A collaborative, pragmatic approach with a genuine interest in being a trusted part of a small team.
