FutureYou is partnering with a leading ASX-listed organisation to recruit a senior commercial lawyer for the Sydney (hybrid) In-House team. The role covers marketing/consumer law, privacy, digital matters, technology and broad commercial contracting.

You will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, advise on privacy law, and support growth initiatives while collaborating with internal teams and external counsel. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment and growth potential.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years PQE gained in-house or from a respected private practice.
• Broad experience in marketing/consumer law, privacy and digital.
• Exposure to commercial IT agreements is highly regarded.
• Resilient with a calm demeanour and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Role

A leading ASX listed organisation is seeking senior commercial lawyer with marketing/consumer law experience to join their In-House legal team in Sydney. This will be a broad role and involve working closely with the business across; marketing/consumer law, privacy/spam, digital, technology and commercial contracting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting and negotiating general commercial contracts
• Providing support on a broad range of exciting marketing, digital and growth related initiatives
• Managing, negotiating & advising the business on a range of commercial IT agreements
• Advising on privacy law matters
• Liaising closely with the business and external counsel

Key Requirements:

• Ideally a minimum of 5 years PQE gained in-house or from a respected private practice firm.
• Broad ranging experience in the areas of marketing/consumer law, privacy and digital
• Prior exposure to commercial IT agreements is also highly regarded
• Resilient with a calm demeanour & a solutions-focused approach.
• Strong interpersonally with an ability to build effective relationships with both internal & external stakeholders
