Job summary

Proclinical is seeking a hands-on Senior Scientist in Brisbane to develop and validate immunogenicity assays (ADA and neutralising antibody) for preclinical and clinical programs, with a focus on robust assay performance.

You will troubleshoot and optimise assay methods, coordinate method transfers across lab teams, and mentor junior scientists, using ELISA or MSD platforms in a GLP/GCP regulated environment, and translate data for project teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and validating ADA and neutralising antibody assays using ELISA or MSD.
• A PhD with 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or an MSc with 5+ years.
• Experience working in a regulated lab, with a good understanding of GLP, GCP and bioanalytical method validation.
• The ability to lead assay work, interpret data and explain your findings clearly to project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead immunogenicity assay activities from method development through validation, supporting both preclinical and clinical research programmes.
• Independently troubleshoot and optimise assay methods to ensure robust and reliable performance.
• Coordinate and oversee method transfer activities, ensuring successful implementation across laboratory teams.
• Mentor and support junior scientists, helping to develop their technical expertise and laboratory skills.
