A leading ICT services provider in Victoria is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to deliver technical support within the education sector through a well-established program. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience, specific expertise in ICT infrastructure, and a passion for education. This role offers a salary range of $80,000 – $110,000 and options for flexible employment including contract or permanent positions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of industry experience in ICT.
• Previous experience within the TSSP program.
• Extensive experience in the education sector.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain ICT infrastructure across Department of Education schools.
• Administer and support school networks and server environments.
• Provide ICT support services in technology-driven learning environments.

Skills

Hyper-V virtualisation administration

Administration of Windows and Linux–based servers

Cloud service administration (Google Workspace & Microsoft 365)

Mobile Device Management (MDM) deployment and administration

Advanced enterprise networking (Cisco & HP switching)

Cisco wireless technologies

SOE and image deployment

Experience supporting large fleets of desktops and notebooks

Experience with 1:1 and BYOD device planning

Strong technical documentation skills
