Job summary

Talent is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a federal government agency and deliver complex ICT systems projects. You will lead cross-functional teams across business, technology and vendor workstreams, ensuring successful production readiness and transition.

With 5–8 years in similar roles, you will manage integrated plans, mitigate risks and coordinate multi-vendor efforts, supported by a Diploma of Project Management or SAFe Agile certification.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience establishing and managing technical ICT delivery projects.
• Experience delivering major COTS or enterprise platforms with integrations, data migration, testing and readiness.
• Previous project management experience within Federal or State Government.
• Diploma of Project Management or SAFe Agile certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones and critical paths across business, technology and vendor workstreams.
• Identify and resolve risks, issues and dependencies across environments, data, integrations, testing and deployment.
• Manage vendor commitments against contracts and delivery schedules.
• Prepare clear project reporting, executive briefs and governance papers for timely decisions.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditure and coordinate procurement and contract activities.
• Coordinate operational readiness and transition into production with business and technical teams.
