Job summary

Infineon Australia is seeking a Product Engineer in our Research & Development team to own characterization from design to production, including post-silicon debug and ICW characterization. You will partner with Design and Test engineers to correlate ATE results with simulations and drive ATE programs across sites.

You will lead data analysis for characterization and early production, manage productivity targets like yield and test time, and guide manufacturability and ramp-up of Silicon

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• 3-5+ years of product engineering in digital/Mixed Signal/RF-SOC semis
• Solid understanding of IC manufacturing and production flow (processing, assembly, testing)
• Hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), UFLEX or Verigy 93K platforms
• Experience with statistical methods and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Innovation-driven with continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of characterization deliverables from design phase to production
• Collaborate with Design and Test engineers to drive correlation between ATE results and simulation environments
• Develop and maintain ATE characterization programs for Char requests across sites
• Own and drive productivity targets: yield, test coverage, and test time
• Lead data analysis for characterization, qualification, and early production, including reporting
• Drive execution at test/assembly sites and act as technical lead for product engineering activities
• Ensure manufacturability and production ramp-up of Silicon Microphone products through yield/fail Pareto and root-cause analysis
