Job summary

Catalyst X in Sydney is seeking a Senior Class 2 Hydraulic Engineer to lead hydraulic services projects across commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments. You will work directly with clients and stakeholders, showcasing your technical expertise and communication skills.

You will mentor junior engineers and designers while ensuring all designs comply with Australian standards, codes, and sustainability requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in hydraulic design within the Building Services industry.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical / Building Services / Hydraulic Engineering (or similar).
• Chartered status (CPEng) or working towards is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead Class 2 hydraulic design for projects from concept to completion.
• Manage client relationships and ensure projects meet quality, timeline and budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers within the team.
• Ensure all designs comply with Australian standards, codes and sustainability requirements.
