Job summary

Senior Class 2 Hydraulic Engineer – Building Services in Sydney. Lead hydraulic design for Class 2 projects from concept to completion across commercial, residential and mixed-use developments.

You will engage directly with clients and stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and ensure designs comply with Australian standards, codes and sustainability requirements while delivering on time and budget.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in hydraulic design within the Building Services industry.
• Degree qualified in Mechanical / Building Services / Hydraulic Engineering (or similar).
• Proven ability to manage projects and deliver on client expectations.
• Chartered (CPEng) or working towards is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading hydraulic design for Class 2 projects from concept to completion.
• Managing client relationships and ensuring projects meet expectations for quality, timeline, and budget.
• Mentoring junior engineers and fostering technical excellence within the team.
• Ensuring all designs comply with Australian standards, codes, and sustainability requirements.
