Job summary

STACK Infrastructure APAC is seeking a Project Engineer – HV Infrastructure in Melbourne. You will own HV engineering workstreams, coordinate EPCs and OEMs, and drive design governance from design through energisation. The role demands deep HV knowledge, strong coordination, and delivery discipline to meet project milestones.

You will review technical submissions, manage change, and support project managers through construction and commissioning within STACK's Power & Energy function.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in HV engineering, substations, or major electrical projects.
• Experience coordinating EPCs, consultants and OEMs.
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret diagrams and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Own HV engineering workstreams and deliverable schedules.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, consultants, and OEMs to resolve issues.
• Review drawings, specs and data for consistency with requirements.
• Lead technical coordination meetings and track actions to closure.
• Manage technical review for EPC deliverables and RFIs.
• Drive design workshops and interface coordination across teams.
• Maintain change registers and assess impact of design changes.
• Lead issue resolution during construction, testing and energisation.
• Coordinate FATs, SATs and commissioning reviews; track punch-list closure.
• Maintain registers for engineering deliverables and interfaces.
