Job summary

CPP is seeking a Senior Primary Engineer in Adelaide to lead high-voltage substation design for major renewable energy projects. Based in our Adelaide Office, you will deliver technically sound primary electrical designs from concept through construction, working with multidisciplinary teams across Australia.

You will bring proven HV design experience, power system studies, arc flash and insulation coordination skills, and a passion for shaping Australia's energy future.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience performing in a similar HV electrical role.
• Expertise in substation design.
• Hands-on experience in Arc Flash, Insulation Coordination Studies or Earthing.
• Power system study experience (not reviewing) including lightning, lighting, short circuit, load flow etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-voltage substation designs from concept to construction support.
• Collaborate with construction and operations teams to ensure practical designs.
• Support projects across Australia in renewable energy and utility sectors.
