Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) seeks a Senior Primary Engineer to drive high-voltage substation design and engineering for Australia’s renewable energy expansion. As part of Quanta Services’ network, you’ll help establish CPP’s Perth hub, delivering end-to-end HV solutions with hands-on design expertise.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to system studies, and travel interstate to strengthen stakeholder relations. Relocation options available for interstate candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered Engineer status or eligible on commencement.
• Minimum 5+ years in HV power transmission industry.
• Experience producing detailed HV design studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed engineering studies across HV substations and transmission lines.
• Design conductor and busbar layouts, sizing and equipment specs.
• Collaborate with construction and operations teams for practical designs.
• Embed CPP in the new Perth location and support growth.
