Job summary

Urbis is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental performance across its Asset Management portfolio in Australia. You will develop and embed proactive safety systems, coach leaders and drive continuous improvement to protect workers, contractors and customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Health, Safety & Environment leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of WHS/OHS legislation and compliance.
• Experience conducting investigations, audits and risk assessments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve WHS systems, policies and procedures across assets.
• Ensure compliance with WHS/OHS legislation, codes of practice and company standards.
• Lead workplace risk assessments, hazard identification and mitigation strategies across managed assets.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions.
• Maintain emergency management procedures, evacuation plans and crisis response protocols.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives and compliance obligations.
• Monitor environmental risks including waste, hazardous substances and pollution control.
• Deliver HSE training programs and safety awareness initiatives.
• Drive a positive safety culture through engagement and leadership.
