Austin Health is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team in Melbourne. You will partner with senior leaders to translate organisational priorities into practical people solutions, strengthening leadership capability and talent pipelines across clinical and corporate portfolios.

You will drive workforce strategy, improve workforce outcomes and enhance the employee experience, while ensuring compliance and a collaborative People & Culture function.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior HR partnering or leadership roles.
• Proven ability to work with executive and senior leaders.
• Strong organisational development, change management and workforce planning.
• Expertise in employment legislation, HR best practice and complex workforce matters.

About t he People & Culture Department

The role sits the HR Business Partnering function within the People & Culture team and acts as a trusted partner to stakeholders and organisational leadership teams. People & Culture is one of eight departments reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.

About the role

As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will play a critical role in translating organisational priorities into practical, high-impact people solutions. You will partner across diverse clinical and corporate portfolios to strengthen leadership capability, drive organisational change, improve workforce outcomes and enhance the employee experience.

Working closely with leaders and colleagues across People & Culture, you will:

• Partner with senior leaders to deliver strategic workforce and people initiatives.
• Develop workforce plans that strengthen capability, succession and talent pipelines.
• Coach and influence leaders to build high-performing and engaged teams.
• Deliver projects that improve workforce experience, engagement and retention.
• Navigate complex workforce matters while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies.
• Contribute to a collaborative, integrated and customer-focused People & Culture function.

About you

You are a highly credible HR professional with experience operating in complex organisations and influencing senior stakeholders. You bring strong commercial and strategic thinking, exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to translate workforce insights into practical workforce solutions.
