Job summary

Department: HS Southern & Western – Parkes NSW is offering a full-time, ongoing Clerk Grade 5/6 role. You will provide a broad range of applicant, tenancy and property management services to clients, including those with complex needs, liaising with advocates and stakeholders for improved outcomes.

You will coach team members, manage key processes such as transfers and arrears, and maintain confidential client records while meeting district targets. A NSW Driver's Licence is required.

Qualifications

• Frontline client-facing experience in housing/tenancy or similar services.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and advocates.
• Experience coaching team members to improve capability.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on housing options based on eligibility and legislation.
• Collaborate with officers and stakeholders to improve client outcomes.
• Resolve tenancy issues and represent Housing NSW at NCAT.
• Coach team members and train on client information systems.
• Manage transfers, arrears, and subprocesses to support targets.
• Oversee rental subsidies and ensure timely processing.
