Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic for a full-time position in Inverell, NSW. You will perform auto maintenance and diagnostics on heavy commercial vehicles in a clean, modern workshop, including servicing, repairs, and major overhauls.

Key tasks include oil changes, air conditioning repair, wheel balancing, DPF cleaning, fault finding and scheduled maintenance, with a salary range of 70,000–80,000 AUD plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications (at least Cert IV) or minimum of 3 years’ experience as a HeavyDiesel Mechanic.
• Experience working on heavy commercial vehicles.
• Ability to identify and complete tasks without direct supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to follow all WH&S.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults.
• Experience with Iveco trucks preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform auto maintenance and diagnostic services on heavy vehicles.
• Oil changes and car air conditioning repair.

• Major overhauls, suspension upgrades and more.
• Scheduled maintenance and breakdowns; fault finding and repairs.
