Job summary

CPB Contractors seeks an experienced Project Director to lead a major healthcare infrastructure project in Albury, NSW, delivering critical health services for the Albury‑Wodonga region. You will drive planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, guiding multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.

The role focuses on safety, quality, programme and commercial performance, with strong leadership, budgeting discipline and a commitment to operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering major healthcare, hospital or complex social infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of building services, commissioning and integrated project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a major healthcare infrastructure project across safety, time, cost and quality.
• Build and lead high‑performing project teams with accountability and collaboration.
• Drive commercial performance through budget management, forecasting and cost control.
• Establish governance, reporting and risk management frameworks.
• Oversee full lifecycle project delivery from design through handover.
• Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
